To register and qualify as a member of the Star Awards Academy you must belong to the Music Industry & have AT LEAST ONE of the following:
Checklist for Artiste
- Be signed or affiliated to a recording label
- Be signed or affiliated with a management company
- Be signed or affiliated with a booking agent or distribution company
- Have at least two music videos posted on Youtube
- Registered with royalties collection company
- Recorded at least two songs with a registered recording label
- Performed at a minimum of two local concerts
- Appeared in a local or overseas Gleaner Company (Media) publication as an artiste
- Have music broadcast on one or more of RJRGLEANER Communications Group TV or radio stations
